Antonio Brown is the most dynamic wide receiver in the NFL, with record-breaking performances on the field and a prolific social media presence off the gridiron. To leverage his NFL superstardom and massive social following, Tostitos and Pepsi wanted to devise a creative way to feature Antonio via branded SnapChat content for the 2017 NFL season. Looking for the perfect partner with an authentic love of sports and snacks, our friends at The Marketing Arm tapped us to execute this social media campaign, from creative collaboration, to shooting our NFL star, to digital design and delivery. In the end, we created the perfect marriage between Antonio Brown, Pepsi and Tostitos on an extremely compressed timeline between initial conversation and final delivery.
Our goal was to keep Antonio on his toes for 84 seconds - to match his world famous jersey number. The wide array of questions (from his favorite superpower to his favorite snack) brought out Antonio’s infectious charisma. Strategically launched during the first week of the NFL season, the final piece had us all feeling like we were celebrating a touchdown with our best AB “wiggle.”
