Covid-19 swiftly changed life as we know it in unfathomable ways. But despite its widespread devastation, it united the world to fight a common threat. In unprecedented times of social distancing, YouTube Originals partnered with Den of Thieves to bring some much-needed togetherness through the universal language of dance, and we were honored to be invited to create a graphics package for such a unique global event.


With a premiere set for International Dance Day, just a couple weeks away from the show's inception, everything had to come together extremely quickly, so we were under-the-gun from day 1. We presented multiple rounds of design and faced many challenges along the way, including how to make cell phone footage with different aspect ratios and muted tones pop in a cohesive and visually appealing way. We worked back to back weekends to create a robust show package that helped bring the event to life, with bold typography and palettes as colorful and energetic as the choreographers' dance moves.


It was all worth it in the end, as the show was a rousing success, captivating millions of eyeballs around the world, and raising millions of dollars for the World Health Organization's COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund. #MoveWithMe became an indelible celebration of dance, music, love, community, and the enduring human spirit - on a global scale.
